Re: Continued operations
We are in uncharted territory as a company, county, state and nation.
We are an essential part of the infrastructure of this community. This exempts us from the shelter In place orders. This also could put each of you at risk to the virus. We have given you some of the tools to protect yourself. It is still up to each of you to assess and acknowledge your risk and exposure.
We are currently comfortable running full staff with salary and commission payroll. We have always experienced a slow down this time of year and have anticipated it financially. This does not mean we can run indefinitely with this new world we are all experiencing, but for now we feel confident.
If you feel you are at a greater risk please feel free to take personal time off, we want everyone to feel confident while doing their jobs.
We need to be diligent continuing the operations of these companies, we have an opportunity to catch up on the day to day maintenance on the units and the property. We need to put are best foot forward together as our own community, the Best Rate community. Lift your fellow employees up don't tear them down to each other.
Help each other thru this as a team player.
The Johnson's are here for everyone!! Please if you need anything from us, we will move mountains to help each and everyone.
We are living in a moment in history that will change character, but on the other side of this you will be proud of what you did. You'll be proud that you showed up. \
That we showed up.

Best Rate Towing Employees
We are writing to you because we value the health and well-being of our employees and their families.
The world health community continues to closely monitor the emergence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the disease it causes, named "coronavirus disease 2019" (COVID-19). At this time, no one knows how severe this outbreak will be. Given this uncertainty, and the fact that the seasonal influenza (flu) virus is also widespread, we are taking proactive steps to address several business concerns. First and foremost, we want to maintain a safe workplace and encourage and/or adopt practices protecting the health of our employees, customers, vendors, visitors or others. We also want to ensure the continuity of business operations in the event of a pandemic.
We ask all employees to cooperate in taking steps to reduce the transmission of communicable diseases in the workplace. Employees are reminded of the following:
Best Rate will be providing alcohol-based hand sanitizers throughout the workplace. Cleaning sprays and wipes disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces such as telephones and keyboards.
It is critical that employees do not report to work while they are experiencing flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills, and/or fatigue. Currently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that employees remain at home until at least 24 hours after they are free of fever (100 degrees F) or signs of a fever without the use of fever-reducing medications.
We will continue to provide information as it becomes available. We are considering all options.
We are concerned about the health of all of our team.
Please contact the human resources department with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Paul Johnson (PJ)
